For three weeks in June and July, over 35 neighborhood children gathered on Caroline House's porch every morning for summer enrichment.  The eager children were greeted by many wonderful adult and student tutors.  Each day the children attended three different learning centers.  Each child worked one-on-one with their devoted tutor.  In the math center, younger children learned math skills involving coins and learning to tell time.  In the reading center, the kids and their tutors chose favorite titles such as the Magic Tree House series, Amelia Bedelia, and The Black Pearl.  In the journaling and creativity center, the kids had fun expressing themselves through writing and art.  The showcase event was the children's performance of their plays, featuring The Little Red Hen!
