Registration for Students
Caroline House is a safe, peaceful haven that will help you learn the English language and other life skills.
Classes meet Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM and follow the Bridgeport Public Schools calendar. Lessons help women learn to read, write, and speak English in a supportive classroom environment. Each day includes one hour of computer instruction when students learn typing, basic word processing and use of English-language learning programs.
If you have young children, we have an on-site preschool program which prepares your children for English-only kindergartens. You will receive special workshops on topics such as financial management, parenting, health and nutrition, domestic violence concerns and safety issues.
If students cannot attend classes on a regular basis, we also offer part-time ESL classes for two hours once a week.
