Location

Caroline House is located on the east side of Bridgeport in a low-income neighborhood. Many residents to do not speak English as a first language. We are within two blocks of two elementary schools where mothers take their children every morning. After bringing their older children to school, mothers are able to walk to Caroline House with their preschoolers to participate in programs that benefit the entire family. 

Preschoolers are welcome at Caroline House. In classrooms just steps away from their mothers, the children are taught and nurtured by experienced, caring staff and volunteers.

Transportation and childcare -- perennial barriers to program solutions for an underserved immigrant population -- are eliminated with our neighborhood-based center.  Caroline House is also near public bus lines to serve families from other areas of Bridgeport and surrounding towns.
