Caroline House, founded
in 1995 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame affords women,
living in an economically deprived area of Bridgeport's East
Side an opportunity to learn English as a second language (ESL),
basic computer and life resource learning skills in order
to more effectively enter into the job market or to continue their education.
Daily classes take place in a warm, comfortable, nuturing environment. Mothers
can learn with the assurance that their pre-school children are being educated
in our children's program.Over 400 women and children
have benefited in this creative and unique learning community.
