Caroline House, founded in 1995 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame affords women, living in an economically deprived area of Bridgeport's East Side an opportunity to learn English as a second language (ESL), basic computer and life resource learning skills in order to more effectively enter into the job market or to continue their education. Daily classes take place in a warm, comfortable, nuturing environment. Mothers can learn with the assurance that their pre-school children are being educated in our children's program.Over 400 women and children have benefited in this creative and unique learning community.
